Introduction.

Hi, my name is Dave Pegg. Having left school at the age of 16, I spent 7 years in the Army. Following training at Bovington with the Junior Leaders Regiment, Royal Armoured Corps, I served with the Army Air Corps in Germany, Northern Ireland and the UK.

On leaving the Army I had a number of jobs before deciding to enter Further and Higher Education. In 1991 I was awarded a B.A (Hons) Degree in Sport and Recreation from Staffordshire University.

In 1993 I took up the role of Head of Physical Education at HMP Blakenhurst in Redditch.

Following 7 years in the prison service, I decided to become self employed, trading as Capricorn Fitness. For the past 22 years I have developed the business to include all elements of wellbeing - fitness, nutrition and mental health education.

My main work areas are now tutoring on a level 2 nutrition and health course and instructing on mental health and wellbeing courses. More details can be found here.
