The vitamins and minerals in fruit and vegetables help to maintain the body’s immune system.
Antioxidant vitamins (A, C and E) protect the cells of the body from attack from Free Radicals.
Fibre contained in fruit and vegetables is important for a healthy lower gut (Bowel).
Fruit and vegetables are generally low in calories.
What’s included:
· Fresh
· Tinned
· Frozen
· Pure Fruit Juice
· Dried Fruit
Be careful with fruit juice. Keep to only 1 small glass of unsweetened a day.
Make sure tinned fruit is in natural juice and tinned vegetables are in water.
No added sugar or salt.
